A sequel to the hit film Amelie is currently in production at KidsWorld Home Video. The studio calls it a “fun -filled, all-new adventure in the spirit of Ace Ventura Jr.” Son of Amelie arrives on Blu-ray Combo Pack including Blu-ray, DVD, & DIGITAL HD with UltraViolet on August 14, from KidsWorld Home Entertainment. The film will also be available on DIGITAL HD two weeks early on August 1.

Son of Amelie will not feature actress Audrey Tautou, and instead finds her son, Amelie Jr. in a series of madcap adventures around his new home in Los Angeles after he arrives to meet his straight laced aunt (Marie Osmond) and eccentric uncle (Carrot Top). Things go hilariously awry until Amelie Jr. is left with just two options: find a way to win the local talent show or wave goodbye to his new friends at the local youth club!

The Blu-ray Combo Pack includes a Blu-ray, DVD and DIGITAL HD with Ultraviolet.

“Hi everyone! It’s me, Son of Amelie!” says the films title character. “That’s right, Amelie Jr! My mom is pretty cool. But I’m spending the summer in Los Angeles, Hollywood, the city of angels! Director Matt Ellin, who was recently plucked out of relative obscurity to direct record the breakingly expensive “SNL MOVIE” is reportedly not handling fame well. In this leaked footage from PA Dylan Greenberg, the director and musician can be seen screaming at motion capture actor Tate Hoffmaster over an apparent argument over the “Ghoulies” film franchise.

“I directed the Ghoulies films under the pseudonym Gary Ghoul”, hollers Matt, “because I didn’t want people to wonder why the Ghoulies movie was directed by a guy with a normal name like Matt Ellin, okay?!!”

Steven Spielberg is the most famous directors working today. He has directed tons and tons of movies. Today he has announced that not only will he be directing the remake of the popular “West Side Story” musical, he has created a brand new character for himself to play in the movie called “Papa Toby”.

“Papa Toby is a brand new character I invented for myself to play in West Side Story.” said the movie maestro in an exclusive interview. “I’m always directing movies but I wanted to give acting in a movie a shot, and I thought, why don’t I bring a totally new character to a classic? Yes! Yes!!! I will become Papa Toby!”

Papa Toby will have several musical numbers, including a full-cast number “Papa Toby’s a Friend of a Friend” in which every character sings about how Papa Toby is their friend.

“Papa Toby is, like, the coolest guy ever. And he also can time travel. Honestly this version of West Side Story is gonna be the best, because I get to play Papa Toby in it, and I also created Papa Toby.”

Reportedly the inclusion of Papa Toby has warranted multiple script changes, including a climax in which Papa Toby saves Tony from being killed and unites the Sharks and the Jets by showing them how awesome movies and TV are.

“A bunch of executives said to me: You can’t do this. You can’t rewrite West Side Story so that Tony doesn’t die and have it be your character who saves him. You can’t add time travel to West Side Story. Um, yes I can. I fired all of those executives. I can do whatever I want. I’m Steven Spielberg.. or am I Papa Toby? Watch my new movie to find out!”

Hollywood movie hunk Elliot Page made headlines recently after publicly coming out as trans. Now, in his first movie role since this massive news, he is set to star in the life story of viral video star “Damn, Daniel”.

“Unfortunately, because of COVID restrictions, Elliot can not be near any live actors, so he will be the only live actor, and the rest of the actors will be CGI.” says first time director and executive producer Daniel Saint Trumpet. “What is good about this, though, is that we can use groundbreaking computer effects to create “Blormo”, a hit new CGI character who will play Damn Daniel’s best friend.”

“I don’t really want to be in the movie.” says star Elliot Page. “I think this is a bad idea. They showed me the CGI characters and they’re not even voiced by real actors, I think they used text to speech and pitched them up really high. I asked them why their voices were so shrill and they said it’s to make them sound like teenagers. Teenagers don’t sound like that. But now I have to be in the movie because I said I was going to. Movies are where you lie and pretend to be someone else. I’m not even Damn Daniel.”
